Herbal Therapy Chinese herbs are an important part of treatment and as such, will often be prescribed in conjunction with acupuncture. Herbal formulas are offered in pill or powered form. While pills are prescribed for more acute conditions, customized blended formulas work best for more chronic ones. The cost of herbs varies dependent on the type prescribed. |
Clinic Policies Payment for treatment is due at the end of each session. Cash or checks are acceptable forms of payment. Patients should check with their insurance company to find out about their coverage. Upon request, we offer patients superbills that they can submit to their insurer for reimbursement. Insurance does not cover the price of herbs. |
| We ask that patients provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a full charge for the missed session. |
